The 2086 Harbian Fiscal Patriarch Election was second election for leadership of the Corporatocracy of Harbitros. The incumbent Fiscal Patriarch, Ray Paul, announced he would run for re-election -- once again representating the Avarice Party. Soon, thereafter, Anthrogenetics Enterprise's president, Sophie Dixon, announced she was running for Fiscal Matriarch, and ran in the Atom Party's primary election, winning the nomination. Pheldas Varlynne attempted to run again as the Libertine Party's nominee, but lost his party's primaries to Goldacre's president, Jackson Kinstead.
After Harbians voted for the next leader of the Corporatocracy on Penulber VIII, it was clear that the election was a very tight race between Ray Paul and Sophie Dixon. Early in the morning of Penulber IX, it was announced that Ray Paul had narrowly won the election with a Vicariot vote count of 68 compared to Sophie Dixon's 64. However, as individual votes were counted in the following weeks, it was revealed that Dixon had won the popular vote, though this had no bearing on the outcome. Ray Paul would act as Fiscal Patriarch for another decade.
