The Battle over Tieuxberia was a major, albeit small, dog fight amidst the Mercenary Wars. It showcased Extrema Caeli's new superweapon, an XS-101 Sonderonne, which had been stolen by EC in 2047.
The Battle[]
During a routine exercise of flying across the northercentral coasts of Isteroxe, Legionnaire aviators were intercepted by a squadron of EC jets. Among them was the third XS-101 Sonderonne, now named Caeli Ultionem -- and piloted by the EC's best ace: Owen "Demonrider" Asbury. Several of the EC aircraft were dispatched, but the Sonderonne began firing is laser. Within a minute, 13 of the 15 Harbians had been shot down -- the two remaining fled, in order to warn the Corporatocracy about the EC's newest superweapon.
Aftermath[]
The incident caused the Corporatocracy ofHarbitros to ask the legendary Legionnaire ace, "Iconoclastes", to come out of retirement -- for one last flight within Moira -- the first prototype of the XS-101 Sonderonne.
