Dogger Bank Shipbuilding was a Concordian shipbuilding company founded in 1897 by Frederick Chambers. Prior to the 1940s and 1950s, it only built commercial ships, for such uses as fishing and transportation. However, as Domi Concordia became more militarized and entered the Concordian-Govindan War after attempting to re-annex parts of Aphrostan, the Concordian Armed Forces contracted the company to construct new lines of battleships. After the quality of the battleships shone through wartime, Dogger Bank Shipbuilding became one of the major companies to be contracted by CAF, and beginning in the 1960s, it was also tasked with building submarines.
