The Western Gahnia War, also known as the Gadidan Independence War, was a large scale war that took place in western Gahnia from early Solmonath of 1974 to Penulber of the same year. The war proved that the communist states of Aphrostan could be fought against and won, to anti-communist individuals throughout the subcontinent. The Sons of Secession, the makeshift military organization of the Gadidan rebels, would later inspire the creation of the Gahnian Liberation Army -- which eventually overthrew Gahnia's communist dictator. The war was also the debut for Darbicus and his resistance junta.
