The Great Wurlomp War, also known as the Primondian-Wurlomp War, the War Against Wurlomps, and simply the Wurlomp War, was a military campaign headed by former leader of Primondia, Milo Savaraklutz, in which the military would fight against the overpopulation of the aggressive species of Wurlomps.
The operation began near the end of Summer of 1981, and was discontinued in the early Summer of 1982, when the Primondian Defence Forces gave up. During the Wurlomp War, over 60 Primondian soldiers lost their lives to wurlomp attacks, and in juxtaposition 10,000 wurlomps were slaughtered. However, this loss of numbers soon was filled by the re-overpopulation of the Wurlomps shortly after the operation was cancelled. A major folly by the Primondian belligerent caused an entire town to be abandoned and infested by wurlomps.
