The Telcasan War, also known as the Crisis in Telcasa, was a large-scale war in southwestern Isteroxe in the early 2000s. The war received global attention after the Nirusians and Cicelians were reportedly committing genocide to ethnically cleanse the Telcasans.

The War

The Telcasan War officially started on Threshannual XIII, 2003 by the Atonement of Harmony and Isteroxean Union mobilizing soldiers, MASH camps, and humanitarian aid to Telcasa, also beginning attacks on the borders of Nirus and Cicelia. Within the first few months of the war, the capital city of Telcasa, Daste, was sieged with artillery volleys and mortar barrages, which left much of the city distraught and in shambles. Over five thousand innocents were killed in the assail by Nirus and Cicelia, which caused global uproar and hastened the operations the AoH and IU had arrived to carry out. The Isteroxean Union acted more as a defensive force, with its soldiers and employees providing cover and humanitarian aid to the wounded, whilst the Atonement of Harmony Peacekeeping forces stayed on the offensive, quickly overpowering Cicelians and Nirusians alike. During a large firefight in downtown Fergus, a large Telcasan city near the Nirusian border, three Cyblink jouranlists were killed by Nirusian soldiers, and another three were wounded. After this development, the Corporatocracy of Harbitros sent a taskforce of Harbian Eclipse Agents to investigate the governments of Nirus and Cicelia, as well as to perform cover operations. In Solmonath of 2005, the Allied forces made their way deep into Nirus and Cicelia and captured several cities and military installations. On Aeostril XXVI, several months later, a large graveyard full of defiled Telcasan corpses was discovered near a Cicelian factory by AoH scouts. The discoveries generated worldwide shock and rage. During the Battle of Lertao, the Nirusian commander General Kardas Almus was killed on the battlefield, effectively throwing Nirus' military into discord and disarray. The war ended on Hallowtempora II, 2005, when Cicelia surrendered, which caused Nirus to surrender shortly after. The two nations' governments were thoroughly investigated and reorganized by the Atonement of Harmony, Isteroxean Union, and the Corporatocracy of Harbitros.

The Telcasan War has roots to previous events and instances. Before the AoH and IU became involved, the Nirusians and Cicelians had already started enacting genocide of the Telcasian ethnicity, first kidnapping and exterminating ethnic Telcasans in their own nations. They also captured Telcasan denizens to perform scientific and sociological experimentations on them. The war is the byproduct of a series of prior wars and conflicts known as the Tetrad State Wars, which have contemporary origins starting from 1991, several months after the fall of communism.
